Caring for Kids
What:
Local Lewiston non-profit Heart 2 Heart Ministries is currently collecting donations to provide back packs and school supplies for at risk youth in the LC Valley. With connections to similar non-profits in the San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, and Philadelphia areas Heart 2 Heartâ??s purpose is to serve the poor and homeless in the LC Valley, and to actively train church planters to establish house churches in our local community.
Why Back Packs?
1.) We serve people by meeting basic needs in our community.
Why House Churches?
2.) Jesus commands us to make diciples who obey his commands (Matt 28, Luke 10:1-24)
